Hygienic pumps and waste bins in focus at World’s leading medical trade show.
Innovative dispenser systems and complete solutions for sustainable hand hygiene – that’s what OPHARDT Hygiene has stood for over 55 years. As one of MEDICA’s earliest exhibitors, The Dispensing Experts, once again presented numerous innovations for effective infection prevention. This year, the OPHARDT booth took visitors for a trip through a hospital from the future, from the intensive care to the nurse’s lounge, the booth offered a window into the ideal use for the most innovative hygiene products in the market.
The new ingo-slide waste bin was a crowd-pleasing innovation. Developed for hands-free operation, the waste bin can be opened easily with the tip of the foot and closed gently with the knee. This effectively prevents cross-contamination.
Another critical theme for German-speaking healthcare facilities revolved around saving process costs and while increasing hygiene standards; With the new DHP disposable pumps for the ingo-man® plus dispenser systems, OPHARDT hygiene in Düsseldorf presented an innovative solution for eliminating the resource-intensive reprocessing of traditional pumps.
As a vehicle for the DHP, The RX 5 M soap and disinfectant dispenser was introduced as an economical counterpart to the renowned IMP dispenser series. A compact plastic housing, a robust operating lever made of stainless steel and a removable safety-click drip tray are essential features of this dispenser system.
In addition to the proven ingo-man® dispenser series, visitors were able to find out about cartridge systems and innovations.

We can look back on a very successful event. In addition to our long-standing partners and customers, we were able to welcome numerous new contacts at our stand. The awareness around proper hand hygiene for infection prevention is growing each year. With our dispenser systems we have our finger on the pulse of the hygiene sector, and have a solution for every problem.
