The family-owned company from the Lower Rhine region draws an all-round positive conclusion from the Freiburg Infectiology and Hygiene Congress 2024, which is organized annually by the Deutschen Beratungszentrum für Hygiene (BZH). The sold-out lunch symposium about the use of intelligent hand hygiene solutions was just one of many highlights.
For the fifth time, the dispenser experts from OPHARDT Hygiene supported the renowned Freiburg Infectiology and Hygiene Congress as a gold sponsor. The OPHARDT Lunch Symposium is an integral part of the event and was once again very popular this year. Under the theme “Focus on hand hygiene”, more than 80 conference visitors listened to the two informative presentations by Prof. Dr. Frank Günther and Dr. Andreas Glöckner, which focused on approaches to improving hand hygiene compliance.
Recyclable disposable hygiene pumps as the top topic at the hygiene congress in Freiburg
Right at the beginning of the three-day event, which took place from October 9 – 11 at the Konzerthaus Freiburg, it quickly became clear which topic was of particular interest to the participants from the field of hospital hygiene: The reprocessing of pumps. In this respect, the recyclable DHP disposable pump for Euro dispensers from OPHARDT Hygiene in Freiburg hit the nerve of the times. This is because the use of the hygienic disposable pump replaces the resource- and time-intensive cleaning and reprocessing of dosing pumps, which saves costs and at the same time sustainably optimizes hygiene standards.
As a “little bonus”, interested visitors to the OPHARDT exhibitor stand received an attractive and handy sample box with the most important product information and a test product of the DHP disposable hygiene pump.
Thinking hand hygiene smart
OPHARDT Hygiene also focused on developments relating to smart hand disinfectant dispensers and the Kanary® hygiene software. In particular, the recently launched smart Euro dispensers from the RX brand make it even easier and more affordable for hygiene departments in clinics and hospitals to enter the world of digitalized hand hygiene.
